<span style="color: #404040;">Fear of flying is an overwhelming fear that is referred to as a phobia. It’s a kind of mental
distortion that can be reversed when in a detached state of hypnotic trance.</span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;">It is an issue I encounter quite a lot
in my practice. Hong Kong has the world’s highest proportion of frequent
international flyers and many do so for business. Some of these passengers live
in absolute fear of flying. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<b><span style="font-size: 14.0pt;"><br />

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;">One of my clients, John F, (name
changed to protect client’s privacy) held a senior job based in Hong Kong with
a financial overview of his company’s Asian operations. He had been in the job
for a year when the stress of taking on the new responsibilities had fuelled an
old fear of flying that he had been in control of up to then. He called me to
find out if hypnotherapy worked with this kind of fear.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<b><span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;">How does hypnotherapy help overcome
fear of flying?</span></b><span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;">A fear or phobia like this is triggered
unconsciously and is sometimes impossible to control by mere willpower.
Hypnotherapy has been particularly successful with such fears and phobias
because it teaches the subject to be attentive to their unconscious thoughts.
It does this helping the client access a state of mind that they experience all
the time. A hypnotic trance is similar to daydreaming. It’s a relaxed peaceful
hypnotic trance that provides the detachment a client needs to retrain the way
their imagination is playing tricks on them.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<b><span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;">Hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic
Programming</span></b><span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;">One of the most successful
hypnotherapeutic approaches for phobias is an NLP technique called Rewind which
has been very successful at scrambling the thought patterns associated with the
fear. It works by asking the client to imagine seeing themselves up on a screen
going through the whole experience of a flight, then reversing it back and
forth repeatedly. With each iteration, the therapist helps the client change
the way they see, hear and feel what’s going on, adding humour, jokes and
making positive suggestions of comfort and enjoyment until the client can
actually begin to feel relaxed and safe again. And in that detached comfortable
hypnotic trance, they feel huge confidence at being able to imagine flying in a
comfortable state of mind. When that happens, it’s like the subject simply
finds what he had lost, a kind of belief in their own feeling of safety.
Eventually, his mind can forget that old fear because it doesn’t bother him
anymore.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<b><span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;">What’s it like to be afraid of flying?</span></b><span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;">For John, the anxiety generally begins
the minute he discusses and schedules a meeting with counterparts in another
Asian office, even when the trip is months away. And despite all the drugs and
drinks he has on flight, it is still hell. He then stresses throughout the
entire working trip because he’s got to face the flight back and the whole
nightmare begins again.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #595959; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 166;">Fear of flying is clearly a distortion
of the imagination. Nobody really understands how it translates a very safe
situation into a near miss tragedy but that’s what John’s mind was telling him
would happen.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<b><span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;">Disarming a phobia is like miraculously
getting out of jail</span></b><span style="color: #404040; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 191;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #595959; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 166;">As for most such clients, it was such a
relief for John to discover that there was a way that his mind could safely
process the flying experience and that he could feel comfortable about it.
After a handful of sessions of hypnotherapy, John was looking forward to his
first easy flight in a long time.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #595959; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 166;">The last time I saw him, he was looking
forward to taking his wife to Vietnam. He had a one-day meeting at the regional
office and then he was going to enjoy a holiday with his wife for the first
time in a very long time.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #595959; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 166;">The mind is powerful like that. The
hypnotherapist trains the subject to use the power of his imagination to outwit
its own negative creations. This makes hypnotherapy a powerful ally to a
frightened mind.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #595959; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 166;">That was the first time John really got
to know his colleagues. And the weekend? – Best ever!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: #595959; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 166;"><br />
If you are afraid of flying, it's important to know that you can overcome it.
Feeling free and comfortable about flying opens you up to a world of personal
and business opportunities!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span lang="EN-US">A recent
study by psychiatrist and researcher Daniel Siegel at UCLA found a high level
of the anxiety hormone Cortisol had leached into the placentas of anxious or depressed
pregnant women. This hormone hinders the growth of these key brain circuits in
their unborn child.<o:p></o:p></span><br />

<span lang="EN-US">The incidence of children with Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder has mushroomed in the past generation. </span>12% of US
children were diagnosed with a Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in 2011. This
number has jumped by 43% since 2003. These children are generally medically
treated with stimulants such as Ritalin, a class of drugs which has only been
tested on adults.<br />
<br />
The important recommendation that emerges from this finding is the importance of reducing anxiety and depression among pregnant women, not only to improve their own quality of life but more importantly, to reduce their unborn child's risk of developmental problems such as FASD, ADHD, etc.<br />

Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy use the latest findings in neuroscience to train the brain to manage anxiety and stressful negative thinking.<br />

the most successful way to stop smoking</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">. </span></b><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">In past clinical studies, it
worked on average in 66% of cases. Behavior modification which involves
changing the little rituals around your smoking, i.e.your brand, the fingers you use to smoke, how you light your
cigarette, etc, has been successful in about 25% of cases. Smoking without the nicotine like e-cigarettes also have 25% success rate. Willpower works in 5% of cases,
reminding us of just how difficult it is to do this cold turkey.</span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> My approach combines hypnosis with behavior modification and dedicates a whole session to neutralizing the cravings. uses the calm relaxing and enjoyable state of hypnotic trance</b> </span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">to help the

quiet detached mind can more easily transfer their focus from a cigarette which
has little pleasure, to instead shine the spotlight of one’s mind on one’s
hopes and expectations of health, success and happiness. </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> </span></span><br />

quit and a good working rapport with the therapist.
Add the therapist’s fee and the client becomes even more motivated to achieve the desired results. That cocktail of strength, belief and hope is the environment that allows the smoker to create that successful change.</span></span></span><br />
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span lang="EN-US"><br /></span></span>
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><b>My program consists of three sessions</b>:</span><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> The first session is a week before the actual quitting day so that the smoker can begin modifying all those little smoking rituals and in the process, begin to scramble the automatic signals that feed the addiction. The second session occurs on quitting day, after the very last cigarette, bringing that addiction to an end with a powerful confidence and new belief. The third session occurs about 4 days later. Its purpose if to reinforce that shift in belief and to take the wind out of the cravings. This is done through the use of EFT, a shifting technique that disconnects the power of the craving from the thoughts that trigger it. In short, the three sessions use hypnosis along with behavior modification and EFT to successfully imbed the new belief into the deep inner mind.</span></span></span><br />

hypnosis so successful when other methods fail? </span></b><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hypnosis allows the client to

addiction is so solidly lodged – into the subconscious mind. Our subconscious
mind is that programmed part of ourselves that never has to think twice about
how to walk, how to ride a bike or if you’re a smoker, how to respond to the
trigger causing you to light up a cigarette. <span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;"> When facing the prospect of a life-defining exam, it's normal to experience a high level of anxiety, a fear of failing and a lack of confidence in the study process. </span><br />

<h2>
<span style="background-color: white; font-size: 12.8px;"><span style="color: #674ea7; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">What Hypnosis does is to simply reinforce the client's own mental strength.</span></span></h2>
<br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Clients who use hypnosis today have long overcome the old cliches associated with the field. Of course, hypnosis doesn't replace hard work - it simply builds your confidence, helps you focus, increases your concentration and allows you to access what you KNOW that you know - all you have to do is work hard and study!</span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">This has been backed up by research - a review of this research on the use of hypnosis was published in The Journal of Counselling Psychology (Vol 29 (1), Jan 1982, 76-94. *'Improving academic performance in adults: A review of recent research'. Now neuroscience has come up with the physiological proof to back up what hypnotists have known all along!</span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;"><br /></span>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #674ea7; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;"><span style="font-size: 12.8px;"><b>My clients don't want 'good' results - they want 'great' results! </b></span></span></h2>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">In my experience as a hypnotherapist, those who seek out hypnosis are the most highly motivated students. The same is true for those who have the most to lose: people for whom jobs, livelihoods or promotions depend on an exam score.</span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">The bottom line is that hypnosis is a powerful tool for achieving academic landmarks, especially when anxiety and lack of confidence threaten the outcome one deserves.</span><br />

is masquerading as hunger?</span><br />

<span lang="EN-US"><span style="color: #666666;">The tool
that hypnosis uses is emotional clarity – an ability to see things for what
they are. In fact, one of the most basic definitions of the state of hypnosis
is: “a focused state of perception”.
It’s a state of calm relaxation where your mind can think and “focus”
without tension or anxiety. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

hypnotic trance, it’s much easier to understand how your mind is confusing true
physical hunger with the misguided emotional tension, i.e. the ‘craving’, that seeks release through food and/or drink. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

surprise that your mind has unconsciously used food as a ‘happy’ solution. We
always celebrate our most memorable life events with food and alcoholic drinks. It makes sense for us to unconsciously try achieving harmony
by eating, and particularly by eating or drinking what we most easily associate
with celebration and happy times: sweets, alcohol and carbohydrates. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

Similar protocols were later used in clinical trials by Dr Olafur Palsson at the Eastern Virginia Medical Center in the US and were presented at the Gastroenterology conference in 1997. </span>Melissa Roth, a US-based hypnotherapist who suffered herself from the syndrome, refined it even further and began testing it on her clients. <h2>
<span style="color: #351c75;">The theory underlying the hypnosis for IBS program</span></h2>
<div>
The unconscious part of our mind has trained the autonomic nervous system to digest within the first few months of life. In normal digestion, the muscles of the GI tract contract and relax continuously 24/7, gradually pushing the food down from the mouth to be excreted from the anus.<br />
<br />
In the IBS sufferer, this muscle teamwork has simply lost its coordination. Muscles are out of sync. They squeeze fecal matter too quickly or too slowly, causing the host of uncomfortable symptoms mentioned above.<br />
<br />
Hypnotic theory suggests that if the unconscious mind did this once, it can be used to re-train the systems controlled by the autonomic nervous system to digest properly again. When the re-training is complete, the symptoms disappear because the gut is working in harmony just as it has evolved to do.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
<span lang="EN-US">The hypnotherapy
program consists of 6 to 10 sessions. A session is conducted every two weeks. Clients
are required to listen to a recording every night during the course of the
therapy. Within the first 3 sessions, (and often following the very first
session) clients begin to experience significant reduction of symptoms.
However, because IBS is cyclical, it’s important to extend the program to the
full three to four months to protect against a ‘creeping back’ of the symptoms.

<div class="MsoNormal">
If you are depressed, then just reading this post is a good sign. It means that you are trying to find a way to get yourself out of
it. Depression is such a soul-destroying experience that it deceives you into
believing that it just can’t be helped. The good news is that you’re on the
right path because it can be eliminated. A modality that has shown positive results in the battle against this hopeless state of mind is hypnotherapy. It can be very effective at
transforming this despairing state of mind into one that is empowering
and liberating.</div>

essential step is helping the client achieve a deeply relaxing positive state
of mind, a state we call a hypnotic trance.
In this state of mind, the client is aware at all times, remembers
everything and is in complete control. Because the mind is so calm during a
trance, it is easy to access memories of events that may have been buried deep
in the unconscious mind. The unconscious tends to bury memories that it deems
too painful for us to deal with at the time they occurred. They remain buried
as unresolved feelings - such
as loss, resentment, regret, blame, anger, guilt, jealousy, and fear and are
stored in our body and mind. The great Fritz Pearls refers to them as “unfinished
business” and these unaddressed emotions haunt us throughout our lives, in ways
that block our greatest aspirations and sometimes play havoc with our bodies. They remain beyond our conscious control as
they are hidden deep in our unconscious.</div>

Clinical
hypnotherapy is an effective therapy for getting to the source of these misconceptions about ourselves and for releasing them so they don’t get recycled as self-sabotaging
thoughts, behavior or physical ailments. Under hypnosis, we can safely go to
the deepest levels of our unconscious to find these memories and let them go. <o:p></o:p></div>

hypnosis sessions focus on replacing these negative thoughts and fears by powerful
positive affirmations. Once these deeply buried negative thoughts and feelings have
surfaced at the conscious level, and have been released, the mind is able and

us to believe that we have lost our natural ability to fall sleep. As we lie in bed trying to fall asleep, we worry that we're unable to fall asleep. Our reaction
is to try even harder and the more we try, it seems like the less we
can sleep. It is a distressing process, one that prevents us from relaxing and
letting sleep happen. The problem is further aggravated when this belief creates
its own habit - sleeplessness.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
Dreams are the creations of our unconscious
mind. Their basic purpose is to bring harmony to our everyday dilemmas. Most of us forget our dreams but occasionally we remember snippets and vaguely remember the rest as being rather weird. Just as your body repairs and restores itself while sleeping, your mind needs the same kind of reset. It needs to temper all those frustrations created by unresolved expectations so as to start the new day refreshed.<br />
<br />
Dreams appear to us in the form of metaphors, usually
with a random cast of characters and objects that we can only puzzle at.
They can sometimes be distressing, and even frightening. But to our
imagination, dreams are simply a way to make sense in a dramatic way of something
that is going on in our lives. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span lang="EN-US">If you sometimes remember your dreams, you've
observed how your imagination can be as powerful as that of any Hollywood
director, using your senses and emotions to intensify the experience. You might have woken up with sweating, racing
heartbeat, jumpiness, even yelling. Your imagination is capable of all that,
from the tamest to the wildest of reactions. And all the while, it is simply
trying to figure out how to work out something that is happening in your life. </span>A recurring dream is simply our mind trying to find clarity in a 'recurring' issue that may go back to earlier time in our lives.<br />
<span lang="EN-US"><br /></span>
<span lang="EN-US">Hypnotherapists love to work with dreams and can help the client gain important insights, even if the client only remembers the barest of snippets. If a client wants to work on a dream, I usually encourage them to jot down their dream the minute they awaken, or as we all know, the details instantly evaporate. Using the techniques of Gestalt, working with distressing dreams is a fast-track way of uncovering and resolving the issues that are troubling the dreamer in real life. </span>Being in a hypnotic trance, feeling safe and totally supported, it’s much easier for a subject to be open to new insights and to move that conflict to the next and final step: resolution. And it doesn't take months of therapy: One or two sessions is all that is needed. And all the while, the client is aware, awake, able to add input and clarity. </div>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">A few years ago, I thought blushing was a beautiful human quality that made someone seem more genuine. It turns out that it's really quite unpleasant for those who do the blushing. </span><br />
<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">One of my first bosses used to blush at the
most unexpected times. All of us enjoyed that pleasant quirk about him and we would chuckle good-naturedly whenever it happened. It’s only now, many years later, having
spoken to other people who are ‘blushers’ themselves that I suspect that he
must have felt a great deal of discomfort over it.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">We all know that blushing is not dangerous,
just a simple body reaction involving dilated vessels filling with blood. But just put yourself in a ‘blusher’s shoes for just a
moment. Imagine that you are talking and
as if out of nowhere your face, neck and entire upper body suddenly turn a
bright red, usually when you feel embarrassed or nervous. Imagine how transparent and yes, naked one can feel if you can't hide these emotions. </span><br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The blusher has absolutely no control over
the onset of blushing and can’t predict when or where it’s going to happen. It
can be quite devastating, especially for teenagers, who are trying to become
confident adults in their ways of relating to others - so devastating that it can
cause some people to shy away, sometimes entirely, from social contact.</span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Blushing is an unconscious reaction,
meaning it is triggered by an unconscious cause and eventually becomes an
unconscious habit.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">This is where the techniques of
hypnotherapy can shine a light. Blushing is similar in a lot of ways to
excessive sweating, hot flashes and other unconscious physical reactions that
we all get from time to time.
Under hypnosis, a therapist can retrain the unconscious mind to alter
our response to these original triggers.
Over time a blusher can retrain their mind to replace a blushing reaction with something
as simple as a feeling of relaxation and confidence. </span><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">As complicated and disempowering as it
might seem to the sufferer, it is quite a simple process under hypnotherapy and
can usually produce good results in just a few sessions.</span></div>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">While our unconscious mind is extremely
powerful, it is also flexible and can find solutions to our problems in a very elegant and simple way under hypnosis. Sometimes our mind simply
begins a habit that begins for some easy-to-understand reason, but ends up like blushing and becomes problematic</span><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">.
Under hypnosis, that habit can be altered and our life will be all the better

sometimes by separating or replacing the association of an unproductive thought

Since every behavior pattern is preceded by thoughts, then it makes sense that

the driving range to practice a day before an important game. But Phil
Mickelson focused on his mental preparation instead. Because he had to take an
overnight flight to Philadelphia, he went from the airport to the golf course
as soon as he got off the plane. To everyone’s surprise, he was the leader of
the first round and played exceptionally well that day. What did he do on that

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Clinical university research conducted in 2012 has provided strong proof that hypnotherapy can result in significantly reduced hot flash symptoms.<br />
<br />
Hot flashes take a toll on women, especially in Hong Kong where I live as the temperatures and humidity are sometimes oppressive. Add hot flashes to that mix and you have reason to be miserable. Women who suffer from annoying, embarrassing and sometimes debilitating hot flashes know just how much they can interfere with our life. They can interfere with our work, our activities, our sleep, our social life, our energy levels and our overall quality of life. Some women tolerate them easily and have them rarely while for others, it's a daily occurrence sometimes happening multiple times a day. 80% of all women are thought to suffer from hot flashes at some point in their lives.<br />
<br />
Generally, hormone therapy is the recommended course of treatment but an increasing number of women are simply reluctant about taking drugs that may have a long term impact on their health.<br />
<br />
Researchers from Baylor University, Indiana University and the University of Texas at Austin undertook a study in 2012 to evaluate the effectiveness of hypnotherapy in reducing these mid-life symptoms. Check out this interesting study by clicking <i><a href="http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23096250" target="_blank"><span style="color: blue;">here</span></a>.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
187 woman who had at least 7 hot flashes per day were split into 2 groups. One group received 5 weekly hypnotherapy sessions and were provided with an audio recording for daily practice. The other group were given a program of structured attention plus an audio recording of hot flash information, also to be listened to daily.<br />
<br />
At the 12 week follow-up, the average reduction in measurable objectively monitored hot flashes was 57% for the hypnotherapy group compared to 10% for the follow up group.<br />
<br />
That's what I call a BIG difference!<br />

The key to losing weight and keeping it off is getting those
runaway emotions and behaviors under control, <a href="http://www.apa.org/news/press/releases/2013/01/emotions-weight-loss.aspx" target="_blank">a study </a>of 1300 psychologists
reveals. Our unconscious mind plays a major role in this.<br />
<br />
<u>Through hypnosis</u>, our unconscious mind can
be coaxed into keeping us focused on our goal. A hypnotherapist can help a client resolve related emotional conflicts, change our deeply held beliefs about our bodies and give us more control over our mood swings. These are usually the culprits that interfere with our weight loss goal. <br />
